Scheherazade Presented by New World Symphony

ALL PUBLIC EVENTS AT THE NEW WORLD CENTER, MARCH 13 THROUGH APRIL 12, 2020 ARE CANCELLED.
Out of an abundance of caution, and in an effort to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, New World Symphony (NWS) President Howard Herring announced the closure of the New World Center for all public events from March 13 through April 12.

If you have purchased $5 Culture Shock Miami tickets for this event, your credit card will automatically be refunded. Please allow up to 10 business days for the credit to reflect on your bank account.

NWS Conducting alumnus Joshua Gersen returns to bring one of the most alluring masterworks to the New World Center. Arabian Nights’ famed storyteller Scheherazade spins fables to survive. Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov pays homage to the princess in this evocative and exotic symphonic page-turner—a treasure trove of imaginative scenes, like Sinbad on the high seas, with mesmerizing solo features.

Teens and young adults ages 13-22 can buy tickets for $5 using the Get Tickets button below. With the purchase of one $5 ticket for someone within the age range, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for an individual of any age to join them.

Regular priced tickets for all other ages available through the venue's website.
