Ever wonder how a concert of classical chamber music is put together? Join the "intense and compelling" (New York Times) musicians of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) in this free event presented as part of the launch of CMS Miami. We begin with a 1-hour master class featuring students of the New World School for the Arts led by CMS artists Paul Huang and Clive Greensmith. This is followed by a 1-hour open rehearsal of Gabriel Fauré's Quartet No. 1 in C minor for Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 15 featuring pianist Wu Han (co-artistic director and recipient of Musical America's Musician of the Year award), Paul Huang, Matthew Lipman, and Clive Greensmith. Register for seats via the link above. You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Bring the confirmation with you to the event.
